The Past Is Still Happening
Statement
An installation and performance work, inspired by the condition of the Palestinian cause since the Nakba. A condition in which events continue to recur according to the same scenario, while the methods change. What defines this condition is the Palestinian's persistent insistence on rebuilding the self and reaffirming existence, despite the continuous repetition of destruction, displacement, and erasure.
